Dr Valéria Kheir graduated in medicine from the University of Geneva and pursued her specialisation in ophthalmology at the Jules-Gonin Eye Hospital, the ophthalmology department of the CHUV. She obtained her FMH certification in ophthalmology there before becoming a chief resident in Geneva and further training in ophthalmic surgery.
 
After completing her 18-month surgical training in Canada, where she specialised further in glaucoma, she obtained her FMH certification in ophthalmic surgery. She performs glaucoma and cataract surgery, refractive surgery, and minor eyelid lesion procedures.
She also has a passion for paediatric ophthalmology and works closely with her orthoptist to provide dedicated and thorough care for children. Dr Kheir has a particularly natural and easy rapport with young patients.
 
Since 2023, Dr Valéria Kheir has taken over Dr Petrovic’s practice, where she cares for her patients with kindness, respect, and dedication. She welcomes all new patients and handles all emergencies.

After her medical studies in Coimbra, Dr. Maria Inês Rodrigues continued her specialization in ophthalmology and ophthalmosurgery in Lisbon, Luanda, Prévessin and Geneva, with a subspecialization in cataract surgery and implanto-refractive surgery.

She founded the Eye Do It association, which organizes humanitarian missions to improve visual health in disadvantaged regions.

Since July 2024, she has joined Dr. Kheir's team at her office in Cornavin, providing care with professionalism and kindness.

His expertise includes vision measurement as well as the fitting and follow-up of both standard and specialty contact lenses.

Dr. Valéria Kheir graduated in medicine from the University of Geneva and completed her specialization in ophthalmology at the Jules-Gonin Eye Hospital and the CHUV, where she obtained her FMH in ophthalmology. She then served as a senior registrar (cheffe de clinique) in Geneva, where she also trained in ophthalmic surgery.
 
Following an 18-month surgical fellowship in Canada, where she specialized in glaucoma, she earned her FMH in ophthalmic surgery. Her surgical practice focuses on glaucoma surgery, cataract procedures, refractive surgery, and minor eyelid lesion treatments. Passionate about pediatric ophthalmology, she works closely with her orthoptist to ensure high-quality care and follow-up for children. Dr. Kheir is especially appreciated for her gentle approach and natural ease with young patients.
 

Since 2023, she has taken over Dr. Petrovic's practice, where she continues to welcome her patients with kindness, respect, and professionalism. She is currently accepting new patients as well as urgent cases.

Léa Martinez is a graduate in orthoptics from the University of Toulouse, where she gained solid experience working for four years in a well-regarded ophthalmology practice in Toulouse.
 
Since 2023, she has been part of Dr. Kheir’s team in Geneva, where she applies her skills in diagnosing and treating visual disorders in both children and adults.
 
Specializing in the screening and management of ocular motility disorders, she treats conditions such as amblyopia, strabismus, and more complex cases of diplopia, including prism adaptations.
She also provides orthoptic rehabilitation, particularly neuro-visual training for children with learning difficulties.
