Since 2023, she has taken over Dr. Petrovic's practice, where she continues to welcome her patients with kindness, respect, and professionalism. She is currently accepting new patients as well as urgent cases.
Dr. Arthur Hammer
Ophtalmologue consultant
A specialist in corneal, cataract and refractive surgery, Dr Hammer holds consultations at the Cornavin clinic one day each month.
As a senior physician specializing in corneal, cataract and refractive surgery at Swiss Visio Montchoisi in Lausanne, and actively involved in academic training, he brings his surgical expertise to the management of complex cases.
His career path, marked by an MD-PhD in Medical Sciences from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Geneva and specialist training at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London, ensures patients receive care at the forefront of innovation.
In his clinical practice, he places particular emphasis on diagnostic accuracy, quality of follow-up and a doctor–patient relationship based on attentive listening and trust.

Dr. David Schapiro

Le Dr David Schapiro est l’un des rares spécialistes européens exclusivement dédiés à la chirurgie de l’orbite, des paupières et des voies lacrymales.
He practices between Paris, Geneva and Dubai, where he manages complex conditions, including tumors, congenital abnormalities and trauma, sometimes requiring extensive reconstructive surgery. He also specializes in less invasive procedures, such as aesthetic eyelid surgery and the treatment of eyelid and lacrimal disorders.
As a trained ophthalmologist, he places particular emphasis on protecting the eye and preserving its function during all eyelid surgery.
His expertise is regularly sought internationally for complex cases. He is also actively involved in scientific research in his field, publishing studies and speaking at numerous French and international conferences.

Dr. David Lopez Oliver
Ophtalmologie FMH, FEBO
A graduate in medicine from the University of Geneva, Dr David Lopez trained in ophthalmology at the Geneva University Hospitals and at the Jules-Gonin Eye Hospital in Lausanne.
His career also includes experience in maxillofacial surgery and a doctoral thesis focused on orbital trauma. He also took part in research activities at the Clinical Investigation Center of the Jules-Gonin Eye Hospital.
Since 2024, he has worked as a senior resident at Geneva University Hospitals, where he continues his training in ophthalmic surgery and manages a wide range of ophthalmic conditions, including complex and urgent cases.
At the clinic, he provides follow-up care for the main ophthalmic conditions affecting adults and children, as well as emergency eye care.

Dre. Maria InĂŞs Rodrigues

Après ses études de médecine à Coimbra, au Portugal, la Dre Maria Inês Rodrigues a poursuivi sa spécialisation en ophtalmologie et en ophtalmochirurgie à l’Hôpital de Santa Maria à Lisbonne, au Luanda Medical Center en Angola, puis au Centre de l’Œil à Prévessin, en France, ainsi qu’à Genève, en Suisse. Elle s’est notamment sous-spécialisée en chirurgie de la cataracte et en chirurgie implanto-réfractive.
En parallèle de son activité clinique, la Dre Maria Inês Rodrigues a fondé l’association à but non lucratif Eye Do It, à travers laquelle elle organise et participe à des missions humanitaires visant à améliorer la santé visuelle dans les régions défavorisées.
Depuis juillet 2024, elle a rejoint l’équipe de la Dre Kheir à Ophtalmologie Cornavin, où elle prend en charge ses patients avec professionnalisme, bienveillance et attention.

Recently qualified as a medical secretary, Marine Bras joined Dr Kheir’s team at the Cornavin Ophthalmology Clinic in 2025.
She provides a warm and professional welcome while ensuring the smooth coordination of the patient journey. From appointment scheduling to administrative file management, she plays a key role in the day-to-day organisation of the practice.
Marine also performs certain basic ophthalmic examinations, contributing to the quality and efficiency of the diagnostic process. Empathetic, organised and versatile, she works closely with the medical team to deliver personalised, seamless and high-quality patient care.
